Making an Appointment

Day and evening appointments are available. Cost of services, confidentiality issues, and possible insurance coverage, will be shared with you. Generally, an appointment can be scheduled within a week of your call. In the case of an emergency, an appointment will be made sooner, if possible, or a referral to another professional or agency will be provided.
Most health insurance policies now include coverage for counseling and psychological services that is provided by a licensed professional counselor. You may need to contact your insurance company to get approval or authorization for counseling/psychological services.
Insurance Coverage
Deborah Witchel, MA, NCC, LPC is currently an approved provider for Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield (including Select Blue, PPO, Anthem and others), UPMC Health Plan, UPMC For Kids (CHIP), United HealthCare (OPTUM), United Behavioral Health, Aetna, and ComPsych. If you do not have health insurance, Debbie will discuss her sliding scale when you call for an appointment.
